CyberMark Reorganization Paves Way for Company Expansion

CampusIDNews Staff   ||   Mar 11, 2002  ||

Tallahassee, FL, March 8, 2002 - CyberMark announced today a reorganization that will allow the company to better focus on its core markets: Higher Education, Automotive and Gift Cards.

As the company continues to grow in its flagship Higher Education market, CyberMark has committed to develop new applications such as network authentication and card member services for its SmartWorldTM system. These applications and planned partnerships will help the company meet the needs of its college and university clients. Outside of Higher Education, the company will emphasize its SmartWrenchTM and SmartGiftTM programs, which are already successfully installed in automotive dealerships and malls, respectively.

“With SmartWorld, SmartWrench and SmartGift, I believe CyberMark is better positioned than ever to make an impact in our target market segments,” said Glenn Santmire, CyberMark CEO. “We are very enthusiastic about participating in the expansion of smart card technology in the U.S.”

As part of the reorganization Bill Norwood, Vice Chairman, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. “Bill has played an invaluable role in the success and growth of this company since its inception,” said Santmire. “His vision made CyberMark the leading provider of smart card solutions in Higher Education and has paved the way for CyberMark to explore future opportunities in other markets.”
