Jolly supports QR bar codes in all products

CampusIDNews Staff   ||   Apr 06, 2011  ||   , ,

Jolly Technology has announced support for QR bar codes in all products: Lobby Track, ID Flow, Asset Track and Label Flow. The company envisions uses of the technology will be for ID verification, ticketing, trade shows and other uses for the transfer of personal information.

These bar codes can store information about a given person or item from a database record. The QR bar codes can be printed on a variety of mediums including ID cards, badges or labels and can be read by QR bar code readers and most smart phones.

In other bar code developments, Jolly has also added the capability to email bar codes as record identifiers to its Lobby Track product. Pre-registered visitors and attendees are sent an email with which they can use to scan in and quickly receive a badge.

Version 5.1 is available to all supported customers at no additional charge. Free trial downloads may be found at Jolly’s website. Customers with earlier releases should contact Jolly for upgrade details.
