No matter how much we preach the importance of the campus card to student life, it's inevitable that students will still misplace or otherwise destroy their credentials. It's a tale as old as the campus card itself.

Boston University cleverly highlights this reality in its "I lost my Terrier Card" video. Turning the tables on students, the video sees students fessing up to losing their BU ID cards, and puts a humorous spin on a situation that would otherwise be a hassle.

Kudos to the Boston University card office for the idea and for shedding more light on the life -- and untimely demise -- of the campus card.
